Work Description

Western Surgical Association is a non-profit organization serving 720 surgeons west of the Ohio River. Their site displays their annual meetings, bylaws, applications, and contact information for the public and their membersship.

Members can submit white papers online, find other members, edit their own profiles, and learn about upcoming meetings.

WSA management performs administratrative tasks through a custom tool, such as updating profiles, exporting the database for mail merge documents, emailing the membership and various committees, checking the list of submitted white papers, and find members.

Project management included:

Website design
Development using Active Server Pages and Access database.
Member login, searches, meeting registration, and profile updating
Administration tool includes login, and database exports, searches, and e-mailing membership based on search criteria
White papers upload for members
